Imagine it.
Every adventure begins with a vision.
Picture yourself and your dog surrounded by mountains, forests, or lakes. A place where they’re free to explore and simply be themselves. This is where we start: dreaming up the perfect backdrop that reflects your best friend and their story.
Live it.
Step Into the Outdoors Together.
Your session is more than a photoshoot — it’s a shared adventure. It’s about connection, exploration, and creating memories just as much as it is about the portraits. Together, we’ll head outdoors into the breathtaking landscapes of British Columbia — most times down winding back roads — where your dog can run, explore, and simply be themselves. I’ll capture your best friend in their element, preserving their spirit and the joy of the moment in timeless images you’ll cherish forever.
Your Experience Includes:
Up to 1.5 hours on location in stunning outdoor settings (with travel time included to reach these beautiful, remote places)
5 professionally edited, high-resolution digital portraits, ready for print or sharing
Coverage for up to 2 dogs from the same household ($75 per additional dog)
A curated proofing gallery where you’ll choose your favorite images
The option to expand your collection with additional photos (starting at $70/photo, with tiered savings the more you purchase)
What Goes Into Your Portraits?
When you book a session, you’re investing in far more than just a few photos. Every portrait is the result of time, care, and artistry behind the scenes to ensure your dog is captured beautifully and authentically.
What goes into each session:
Traveling to stunning outdoor locations — often 2–3+ hours round trip — to create the perfect backdrop
Up to 1.5 hours photographing your dog in nature, where they can explore and simply be themselves
8–16 hours of careful, artistic editing to highlight your dog’s personality and the beauty of the landscape
Curating, proofing, and preparing a unique gallery so you can easily select your favorite portraits
Years of experience in working with dogs of all personalities, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience
My unique editing style and artistic vision that transforms each image into a finished piece of artwork you won’t find anywhere else
This is why every portrait you receive is more than just a photo — it’s a carefully crafted memory designed to last a lifetime.
FAQs
Do you travel for sessions?
Absolutely! While I’m based in Chilliwack, BC, I’m more than happy to travel within BC (or Canada!) to help bring your vision to life, whether that’s a mountain meadow, a windswept beach, or a spot that’s meaningful to you and your dog. Travel within 50km of Chilliwack is included, and anything beyond that may incur a travel fee. I’ve even been flown out to Ontario to photograph a client’s beloved dog recently, so if you have a dream location in mind, near or far, let’s chat about what’s possible! If you have a specific location in mind, just reach out through my Contact page—I’d love to hear about it and see what’s possible!

What if my dog can’t be off leash?
This is not a problem. In fact, the majority of the dogs you see in my photos are ON leash! Yes, you read that right. With advanced editing software, removing leashes and collars has never been easier. We can absolutely work around this. :)
Do you work with reactive/fearful dogs?
Absolutely. My own dog, Marin, is reactive toward other dogs, so I deeply understand how overwhelming it can feel to bring a sensitive pup into new environments. Because of her, I’ve discovered beautiful, quiet locations with minimal distractions—perfect for helping your dog feel safe and relaxed. During the planning phase, we’ll chat through your dog’s specific needs and comfort levels to ensure the session is calm, positive, and entirely tailored to them. Your dog’s well-being comes first, always.
What does the gallery process look like?
Within 7 days of your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery filled with the best images from our time together—these are all unedited photos selected for their strong potential to meet my high editing standards. I’ll also include a few fully edited previews so you can get a feel for the final look and style of the final photos. From here, you’ll choose your 5 favorite images to go to the final editing stages (with the option to purchase additional ones if you'd like). Once I receive your selections, the final gallery will be ready within 5-8 weeks.
What time of day do you plan sessions for?
Beautiful light is everything in my work—it's what brings that dreamy, magical feel to your dog’s portraits. Because of that, I plan sessions around the most flattering natural light, typically during golden hour—shortly after sunrise or just before sunset. If the day is overcast or moody (which can also be stunning!), I may shift the session slightly to take full advantage of the soft, even light. We’ll chat through all of this during the planning process so your pup gets their moment to shine in the most beautiful setting possible.
How long does a session take?
Most sessions last between 1 to 1.5 hours on-location, but I always reserve up to 2 hours just in case your dog needs a little extra time to settle in. Every dog is different, and I want to make sure we move at their pace—never rushed, always relaxed. Think of it less like a photoshoot and more like a little adventure. We'll chat, explore, play, and let your pup warm up naturally so I can capture them as their most comfortable self.
I live in the States—can I hire you to come here for a session?
As much as I’d love to, I’m unable to offer sessions within the U.S. due to work visa restrictions. However, I regularly welcome clients from across the States—including California, Colorado, Kansas, and beyond—who travel to beautiful British Columbia for a one-of-a-kind experience with their dog. If you’ve been dreaming of a session together, I’d absolutely love to help you plan a visit to my area!
